The current fee for Fire & EMS services is $425 per lot annually.
This amounts to $1.16 per day to have professional firefighters
and paramedics on call 24/7. Between 2005 and 2021, the fire fee ranged from a low of $65 up to $200 in 2021. CMFPD transitioned from a volunteer department to a paid professional department in 2020 and added Paramedic-level EMS in 2021. These service enhancements contributed to the need for an increased fee in 2022.
The current fee for Snow Removal is $230 per lot annually. This funds the snow removal contractors who plow subdivision roads throughout the season. Historically, the snow fee has ranged from a low of $55 in 2005, to $220 in 2010.
The current fee for Dust Control is $100 per lot annually. The first year that a dust control product was applied was 2022. For 2023, the District will start the process of prepping roads and applying product in mid to late May, weather permitting.
